The Message is Simple… LOVE!

sunset-hands-love-woman

Lately, it seems to be quite a struggle to hold onto hope for real world peace, to feel safe and secure in life, and to trust in the best intentions of humanity. News headlines lines literally wreak with purifying stories of hatred and malice, murder and deceit, heartache and suffering. I suppose the most baffling aspect of it all is why would things be worse, when there are churches and religions massively covering the earth claiming to teach unity and love? In fact, I don’t think there is hardly a religious person out there that would not agree that LOVE is the key that unlocks happiness, peace, joy, liberation, forgiveness…

Then why, why is the world in such a mess?
Why is religion not impacting the world as it could be?

The reason religion is failing to unify is because of a little conjunction that most religion adds to the simple message to love.

That conjunction is “and”.

What comes after that conjunction is as vast and as varied as personalities are.

Love and go to church
Love and give money
Love and dress the way we dictate
Love and submit to authority
Love and be baptized
Love and call yourself a_____________
Love and join our affiliation
Love and see things the way we see them
Love and agree with everything the pastor preaches
Love and don’t listen to rock music
Love and wear a covering on your head
Love and don’t ask questions
Love and be compliant
Love and serve our church
Love and stay away from______________

On and on and on it goes. Where it stops nobody knows.

Its not what follows the “and” that is the problem. It’s the “and” being there in the first place.
The “and” is what breaks the fellowship. The “and” is what divides. The “and” is what turns love into hypocrisy. The “and” is what removes the unconditional. Its the “and” that provides the excuse to commit atrocities. Its the “and” that inflates the ego. It’s that little conjuntion “and” that is added to the simple message of LOVE that dilutes it and robs it of its potency.

LOVE!

That is the key to world peace. That is the key to happiness. That is the key to Spirit.

God is love. Love is God.

The message of the sages is simple:

LOVE!

Your Inner River that Satifies

there-is-a-river

There is a river
That flows from deep within,
There is a fountain
That frees the soul from sin,
Come to this water,
There is a vast supply,
There is a river
That never shall run dry.

This song talks about the river that “flows from deep within.”

In my book, “The Voice of God Within” I share my journey out of the abyss of religious muck and mire and finding true soul freedom when I began to listen within. I still hear that voice, and I have more peace now than I ever did in stuck in the boxed up teachings of Christianity.

However, my time spent in religion was not in vain. It was a stepping stone to where I am today- a learning process. I do not regret it. I was doing my very best during those years with what I understood. Nor do I advocate that religion is unnecessary. Many people are helped greatly by their religious affiliation.

But the greatest freedom, joy, peace and love all come from the voice within– There is a river that flows deep within each and every one of us. Most religious systems teach that you have to go through a process to receive this special infilling that gives you access to this river. Yet, I have found that it is these very processes offered that keep you away from this precious inner guidance. Religious dogma and expectations cause a person to look more without than within.

The REAL awakening comes when you hear and listen to the voice within. This voice is in every one of us. It is the very spark of life. It is the realization that YOU are the temple of God. Not a building or a group of people- but YOU! The Christ experience is to understand that you too are God incarnate.

“Is it not written in your scriptures, Ye are gods?” ~Jesus Christ

This song talks about freedom from sin, which is what keeps us from drinking of this eternal river. Sin is separation from God, or to put it more plainly- separation from SELF. It is anything that keeps you from listening within. When we hear that voice within, it leads us to have abundant life.

“I came so that you might have a more abundant life” ~Jesus Christ

To be religious is to be dedicated to a systematic way of living, to its rules, and to its religious observances. It is to have an allegorical “old-testament” way of life- to fear and quake before a powerful God- outside yourself, that will one day destroy all that is known to us today; it is to be judgmental of yourself and others; it is to separate, to war against, and to destroy your personal self- old testament religion is divisive. It is an allegorical testament of the evolution of man.

But to be authentic- or what Christ said to the woman at the well, to be in spirit and in truth, is to listen within; it is to drink of the inner eternal waters; it is to be reconnected to yourself; it is to become alive to your true, authentic self, which is God incarnate; it is to be free from rules and regulations and simply subjected to yourself to your own inner guidance system; it is to connect to pure, infinite, unconditional love; it is peace and serenity with yourself, with this life here, with others, and with God; it is the peace that passes understanding; it is to know that you can never really be separate from God; it is understanding that nothing in and of itself is evil or bad, but only perceived as evil (Romans 14:14); it is to be okay with where other people are in their journey; It is the freedom from feeling responsible for other peoples journey; it is to love everyone everywhere because you realize that what you do to one, you ultimately do to yourself; it is understanding that we are all of one source and life is eternal, and this too shall pass; it is knowing that the only thing that is real is that which never changes- that voice of God within- that YOU that has been there all along…

Look for that river within- it is a VAST supply!

With Brave Wings She Flies!

free

By Elizabeth Van Cleve
July 4, 2014, edited August 10, 2016

It’s been over two years since I left the church I had been a part of for close to 20 years. With all the courage I could muster, I walked out of the inner world of protocol, dogma and dictation and out into a world of uncertainty and misgiving. I waited for the sky to fall, for the serpent to bite, for the wrath of God to shake his finger at me and claim me a heretic doomed for hell’s fires. Every slip away from the rules and regulations I had so faithfully adhered to, was followed by accusations that I was the devil’s advocate and would soon be “seven times worse than before.”

It wasn’t a hasty nor a light decision. It began a few years prior, when in a desperate cry for relief from a monotonous, insipid life, I began to pray that God would take every ounce of religious spirit out of me and to help me to be a proper representative of him. Over the years the splits, fighting, hurt and drama I had witnessed at church and in the religious world at large, I knew God could not be the instigator of it all. I was so discouraged and let down. I could not envision the entire world being locked down in this systematic way of living that we were regularly admonished to uphold. Though I understood very deeply that the world at large has great needs, in my mind this way of life was not the answer.

I began reading books written by women who had been involved in religious cults and they resonated the same fears I had about leaving their religion, of God’s wrath, and of their system being the only way to heaven. It opened my eyes to the manipulation of fear, and I began to understand that what was holding me to the church I was immersed in was no longer a love for Christ and his work; Somewhere along the way, that had been lost in all the “do’s and dont’s” and in the complete take over of my life. I was no longer happy there and I was dying inside and the church did not have the answers to my inner turmoil. I knew that the only thing that was continuing to hold me there was fear. Yet, God was working so gently within my heart, drawing me closer to and showing me my wings.

A complete paradigm shift was going on inside of me. Little by little God began to rock my world so severely and I knew I needed to leave religion behind me. I read a book titled “Half The Sky” written by two journalist who traveled to several countries and witnessed the violation and oppression of women and young girls in developing countries. The stories in this book were absolutely horrific. I began to contemplate how so many women were in countries and/or positions where they had no voice about what was being done them. I thought about all the religious oppression world wide where torture and blood shed awaits any who would dare question the system. And here I was in AMERICA- the land of the FREE choosing OPPRESSION! I then realized that leaving church was not just about me. My freedom was about every man, woman and child out there who have no rights. My freedom was not to be taken lightly. My freedom was a responsibility. My freedom was their HOPE!

Yet I struggled because of years and years of fear conditioning. Then, one day I saw this vision of myself; I was in a large cage, curled up in a ball, crying. The door of the cage was wide open but I was too terrified to leave because I believed the serpent waited without to devour me. Then God spoke to me and told me to use my wings and fly away.  It took a great amount of courage to leave flying straight towards my deepest fear. It was the bravest step I ever took. But the day I flew away, a great load lifted off of me and I knew, I had just taken my first step towards TRUE FREEDOM!- that freedom that comes from within- that freedom of KNOWING I have wings and Spirit is the wind beneath them and that nothing could ever separate me from God. The day I walked away, was the beginning of my personal inner freedom and authenticity.

I have never regretted that decision!

“Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed”

Leaves for Health and Healing

leaves

Beautiful nature offers us all we need to not only survive, but thrive. Fruits give us energy, minerals, vitamins, fiber and hydration. But did you know that their leaves also are packed with healing properties?

Try harvesting some leaves and adding them to a pitcher of water to infuse the water with their healing properties. Or cut them in pieces, place them in a mug and add hot water to make a tea. Dry, crumble and bag some leaves for later use. Label the bags with the names of the tree leaves and what their medicinal properties are.

Whirl dry tea leaves in a coffee grinder for a powder to add to your smoothies.

For those of you who have juicers, try adding a few fruit leaves to your juices.

Leaves are often used as food wraps, though cooking them will destroy much of their benefits so eating raw wraps or adding them to salads is probably best.

When I harvest leaves, I go for branches that need trimming anyhow; the fruit needs the energy and nutrients from the leaves to develop well, so do not over pick.

*Always consume organic, unsprayed vegetation only!

The following is a list of edible leaves and some of their benefits:

Grape leaves- commonly used to make Dolmades, grape leaves are rich in vitamins A, K, C, E, B6, niacin, iron, riboflavin, folate, calcium, magnesium, copper, manganese. Grape leaves are mildly anti-inflammatory, and can reduce edema, treat diarrhea, stomach issues, hepatitis and gynecological problems such as excessive bleeding and/or discharge.

Fig leaves- have been acclaimed to reduce the need for insulin in diabetics. They are rich in calcium and can also be used to to lower blood pressure, treat bronchitis, lower triglyceride levels, and relieve ulcers.

Raspberry leaves-  are high in magnesium, potassium, iron and B-vitamins. Known to strengthen the uterine and pelvic muscles, red raspberry has been utilized for centuries to increase fertility, strengthen the uterine during pregnancy, ease labor and delivery, and regulate women’s menstruation.

Mulberry leaves- contain calcium, iron, zinc, vitamin c and beta carotene. This is another leaf that has been shown to help with type 2 diabetes by reducing blood sugar levels. They contain GABA which can reduce blood pressure, increase circulation, and assist in overall health of blood membranes. Some studies predict that drinking mulberry tea regularly can help reduce cholesterol.

Loquat Leaves-  are antiviral, help the body release antioxidants, assists in the bodies detoxification by aiding mucus breakdown, can increase insulin production and supports the liver.

Birch leaves- help heal mouth sores, aid in healing bladder and kidney problems and gout, and is used to heal a variety of skin conditions including psoriasis.

Hawthorne leaves- are well known for their positive affect on the cardiovascular system and have been used in treating congestive heart failure, blood pressure issues, heartbeat irregularity, angina and high cholesterol and more.

Avocado leaves-  can dissolve kidney stones and strengthen kidney function, act as a diuretic to relieve swelling, reduce blood pressure, eliminate thrush, and aid healing from colds, coughs, and asthma.

Olive leaves- may prevent cancer, reduce and/or eliminate tumors, lower cholesterol and blood pressure and slow carbohydrate digestion reducing insulin fluctuation; they are anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, antioxidant, a treatment for arthritis and and a natural pain reliever; they can improve brain function and stimulate production of bone-building cells.

This list is just to pique your curiosity and get you started on your own research to the healing nature of leaves. What plant and trees do you have access to that are not sprayed? Do you have some of the ones listed above? Start there and do some more research on it.

Healing can be as simple as going out in your yard, picking a few leaves, rinsing them and making a tea. Mother Earth has provided the means. Use your intuition and the knowledge available to you and begin to apply the age old wisdom of Hippocrates to your life, “Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food.”

You just might be amazed at how much healing power you have right outside your door.

Removing Dark Spirits, Entities or Vibes from Your Home

Space clearing2

This morning I answered a post in a Facebook Group to a woman who was seeking help to get rid of a dark presence she felt in her new place of residence. I decided to share what has worked for me here for others who are searching for help in this area.

First, it is important to understand that EVERYTHING in this universe vibrates at a frequency. The highest emotional vibration is LOVE and the lowest emotional vibration is FEAR. Hence the scripture, “Perfect love casts out fear.”  High vibrations cannot stay in the same space as low vibrations- just as light dispels dark, so do higher vibration replace low vibrations.

Low vibration entities will have a very difficult time hanging around someone or some place with high vibrations. If you are fearful, the lower vibrations feed off this and become stronger. If you feel like you cannot shake your fear, then perhaps you should find someone who has experience in clearing entities from homes to do it for you.

The following steps are things you can do to RAISE your own vibrations and the vibrations of your home, and remove low vibration entities.

Supplies:

  • Frankincense Incense
  • Essential Oils: Frankincense, Rose Absolute, Orange or Lemon
  • Spray bottle
  • Purified water
  • Dust rag
  • Vacuum
  • Pure Sea Salt
  1. Open up all windows and doorways. Get as much fresh air circulating as possible. (If an certain open window or door takes away your sense of safety, keep it closed)
  2. Put on some energy clearing music or sounds. Use music that makes you feel elevated within your spirit. If the links I provide do not do this, then find something that works for you. (*See links below)
  3. Light the Frankincense incense.
  4. Meditate and pray, with gratitude and love. Envision a beautiful white protective light encircling your entire being and space.
  5. Mix in 2 cups of purified water, 10 drops of Frankincense oil, 15 drops of Rose Absolute, 4 drops of Orange or Lemon oil. Pour into squirt bottle. Spray soft cloth with mixture and dust furniture and fixtures throughout house.
  6. Vacuum and or sweep entire house.
  7. Pick up clutter- clutter blocks fresh energy from flowing through. Think of water coming through the entry ways. What would block it from flowing freely through. Furniture should be placed so as not to block this gentle flow. What would the water collect and float away? Put those items away.
  8. Place a small bowl of salt (about 1/4 cup) in rooms that feel especially dark. Remove and discard after a week.
  9. Take the squirt bottle, and beginning at the farthest corner of the house, spraying the water up towards the ceiling in long strokes, left ward, and going clockwise throughout your entire house. Continue clockwise from room to room. Spray around entire entry ways, in closets, under furniture, behind doors. Vibrations can collect, like dust balls do, in places that are stagnant. So be sure to get these areas. As you spray, repeat the following:

I command all entities that are not of love and light and are not here for my highest good and the good of all whom my life touches, to leave. You are not welcome here. Go into the light so you can transcend your present state. I ask that the angel spirits of love and light be with us and protect us and our home. I invite the Christ spirit into our home. (You can use your own words or change this, but be sure to command the dark entities to leave and let them know they are not welcomed there)

Some people use sage burning for the same purpose, which I have done as well, but the smoke bothers me and the water spray works just as well. The essential oils are very high vibrating oils.

Afterwards, spray the water around you and cleanse your vibrations by making a hot herbal tea. Holy basil tea is a really good one to use. Take a bath, adding a few drops of frankincense and lavender or rose absolute oils. Speak words of love into the water. Burn a candle in the bathroom while you bathe.

Repeat ritual anytime negativity is in the air of your home- whether because of a fight,  the presence of a negative entity (this can be physical as well as non-physical),  a scary, depressing negative program was watched in the home, or depressive moods are strong- anything that is lowering your vibrations and making you feel icky within.

To help keep your vibrations high, ask yourself several times a day, “How do I feel and what do I need.” Then take care of your physical, spiritual and emotional body.

Be mindful of what you allow into your home via media- music, TV, computer, books and people- all these can affect the vibrational space and work to bring in or block entities.

The Essence of God

  • The Bible teaches that God is a Spirit and we must worship within our Spirit and truth.
  • God is the breath of life; Yogis call this prana.
  • God is neither male or female but rather energy- consciousness; Spirit is our unifying being.
  • The Old Testament Bible forbade making images of God to worship- this practice distorts the essence of God.
  • When a person becomes wise, beautiful, healthy and holy, people are generally attracted to them because they are manifesting a greater degree of the essence of God whom is pure and untainted. We desire to become like that because it feels clean, safe and tranquil; but we must remember that it is not the vessel (the person) that we long for, but rather the Spirit within them- the essence of God.

Eight Practices to Develop the Essence of God in Your Life

  1. Prayer- Talking to Spirit or that higher consciousness as friend to friend. Giving thanks or gratitude. Asking for help.
  2. Meditation- Inner stillness. “Be still and know…”
  3. Commitment to High Vibes Life- healthy body, mind and spirit.
  4. Do no harm- Practice the art of making everywhere you go and all whom your life touches better for you having been there, even if you merely say a blessing over it.
  5. Spend Lots of time out in nature, alone- Sit out in nature where you can be alone and soak in it’s essence and beauty. Really focus your attention on every living presence around you and then realize within that it is Spirit’s essence that animates, colors, and gives it all life. Realize that the same spirit resides within you.
  6. Do not limit God- When you allow God to be I AM, and open your mind to the limitlessness of God, the essence of God will flow freely through you and all around you. Consider the Bible gives over 900 names to God; some of these are; Creator, Purifier, Holy, Mighty, Provider, Protector, Healer, Banner, I Am, Peace, Righteousness, Shepherd, Everlasting, Seeing, Star, Stone, Son, Author, First, Last, Ancient, Anointed . . . in other words, all encompassing. The Bible also says that we are God’s offspring and that in Spirit we live and move and have our being. So please do not shut your heart when someone thousands of years later relates to God as Universe or Spirit. These too are all-encompassing endearments of the self-same Spirit.
  7. Seek truth in all teachings. We are all teachers and we are all students- all the time.
  8. Acknowledge the divinity in all creation, whether people, animals, plants or earth- Namaste!

Christmas or X-Mas?

Did you know that X-mas and Christmas are really the same thing? X was the Greek word for Chi = Christ! But of course, most people do not realize that and so many are so worried about taking Christ out of Christmas. I am not a historian, but a little google search on the history of Christmas and we find that Winter Solstice was the original celebration; It was the celebration of the shortest day, meaning the days would begin to stay light longer from that point on in the year. CHRISTmas was added later to this festive time as an earmark date to honor the birth of Christ.

Christmas or X-mas? Perhaps if we are truly concerned about keeping the honor of Christ during the holiday, what we really should focus on is the way we are treating our neighbor- or those that are closest to us. Perhaps it is more about letting go of the Grinch and inviting in LOVE.

Keep your eyes open everyday for opportunities to reach out and show a little extra kindness, thoughtfulness, and compassion. So many are suffering in our world. Take a moment to call or visit someone that is lonely. Hold a door open or let someone go ahead of you in line. SMILE! Give away a little something you love to brighten another heart. Donate all those extra Christmas decorations to a family who doesn’t have any or to your favorite charity. These are just a few ideas, but the possibilities are endless.

Fill your CHRISTmas up with good deeds- the kind that no one ever knows about or really sees- the deeds that are a secret between you and the one you just loved! And watch the Spirit of Christ blossom out in all it’s glory over the season to be jolly!

“Watch out! Don’t do your good deeds publicly, to be admired by others, for you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven. When you give to someone in need, don’t do as the hypocrites do—blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! I tell you the truth, they have received all the reward they will ever get. But when you give to someone in need, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. Give your gifts in private, and your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.” ~Jesus CHRIST

Bullying – Victim Paradigm- Identifying and breaking free from it!

No one likes to be bullied. Today, awareness of bullying is mounting. Many people are going all out to put the breaks on it. Bullying does not just happen among school children. It goes on in adult circles all the time- in relationships, on the job, in groups and societies. If we want to make a big impact on curb-tailing bullying we need to recognize the signs and do what we can to put a stop to it. Our efforts to control bullying in school age children will be very limited as long as we continue to teach them bullying by our actions. Whether we are being bullied or we realize we are the bully- we need to own it and stop it, so we can begin to shift the vibration from a power-struggle world to a world of equality and harmony.

bullying

In this “Teasing verses Taunting” chart we have a list that can be applicable to a variety of situations. Ask yourself as you read over it, “Where do I fall on the chart? Where does my relationship with …….. fall? What about my job? My family? My church? Am I or are they incorporating bullying techniques?

Bullying is a manipulative way of getting what one wants. The bully preys on ones that have a weaker constitution than them or a perceived inferior position. The bully is usually a wounded person who at sometime in their life felt like a victim and bullying was their way of shoring up against ever being in that position again.

Religious groups often use means of bullying- cloaking it in a cover of a “love for the soul.” But when they have to bully converts into staying and submitting to their protocol, they have only gained a proselyte and not a true devotee. They will eventually end up with a group of dependent, beat-down, unmotivated individuals with little ability to reason logically, to empathize truly or to think for themselves.

The same results are seen at places of employment or governed societies where bullying is a means of control; it creates a dependent, unmotivated, discontent society that no longer can discern bad choices from good choices because they have so long been bullied into someone else’s choices for them.

You may think that you do not fall on the chart of bullying/victim at all. This is a rare case. Bullying is about control and can show up in very subtle ways. It takes a conscientious person to really identify their part in the bigger picture. I have seen this manipulative controlling attitude come out among closest friends.

These patterns can be broken. As we break free from the hierarchical  paradigm of “us verses them” we become an ensign of freedom, light, and peace. We each have to own our part in the bigger picture. Are we playing a victim role by allowing others to bully us and not taking responsibility for our own life choices? Are we coercing, threatening, shaming, punishing, demeaning anyone else in an attempt to change them or cause them to do what we desire them to do?

To get out from underneath a bully we have to be very deliberate in our choices and begin to respond rather than react to them. We have to master the art of saying NO! We have to think about what someone is requiring of us, weigh it out to see if it is a benefit and asset to our life, and if not reject it. This takes a lot of courage for those who are used to allowing others to always have the upper-hand.

If you are a bully, you need to spend time alone and contemplate why you feel like you need to control others. You need to learn the art of being present with what is and trusting the process of life. By getting in touch with your own vulnerability and accepting it, you will begin to naturally let go of the need to control others.

Both the bully and victim need to understand, that they are creating their reality everyday, by their thoughts, by their choices, by their actions. Both need to own this truth and make a commitment to shift their vibration from where it is to a place of give and take- a place of allowing- allowing others to be where they are without having to justify or make excuse for them or control them, and allowing yourself to feel your true emotions, accepting them and working through them.

Bullying is not just among school children, in fact, bullying begins with their caretakers! What examples are we leaving in this world when it comes to bullying? As an individual, as a society, as humanity? When your children observe you do they see someone confident in the process of life or someone who yells, argues, threatens and even gets physically aggressive when things are not going their way? Do they see someone that is confident in their own skin or someone who is always seeking out others to tell them what to do and then blaming everyone else for their lot in life?

Think about it! I have, and I have done something about it in my own life. Consequently I am so much happier and free!

O Death Where is Thy Sting? The Way to Peace and Freedom

The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time. ~Mark Twain

All the wars in this world are led by a few key people. Millions of human lives march to the drums of someone else’s beat.  So many want peace, but until the majority of people can get to a place of real freedom- the ability to fly with your own wings or march to your own beat- and allow other people the same freedom, war will continue to flourish. Because, if one cannot be free themselves, neither can they allow someone else that freedom.

Control of other people is the root of all evil. This does not contradict what the bible says about the love of money, for why does someone want to be rich? The word “rich” is relevant to the society that you live in and therefore implies that others are poor. To be rich is to have an upper hand over the poor. It is to have a measure of control. In some cases you may not recognize your need to be in control, but most everyone has that neediness within and it is by this detraction that we are not able to be authentic and free. How does one overcome the need to be powerful, or better, or bigger than someone else? How does someone come to a place of real inner freedom- a place of peace and acceptance of who we truly are? That place is found where ever the sting of death is removed.

Let us look into the teachings of the Bible with a fresh perspective. Step away from preconceived ideas tainted by religious piousness.

“Oh death where is thy sting? The sting of death is sin and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God who gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 50:55-57

Until we make peace with death, we will never be able to be completely free and to live this life authentically and to the fullest. Without victory over death, we will not be able to let go of trying to control life and the people around us; we will be unable to fully embody this experience through authenticity and co-creation. And without this embodiment, peace and lasting happiness will evade us.

I propose that Christ did not come to make us religious, or to change our behavior, but rather to change our minds. The sting of death is the law, because a large part of this world has the perception that “God” is an all powerful being with the last word on what is going to happen; and unless you are behaving correctly (his LAW) and believing the right thing, he is going to punish you forever in a tormenting hell. Many men and women throughout time have taken full advantage of this ever-present fear of death- the day of ones reckoning, and hereby taken control over peoples minds and lives.

Hence we spend our time here on earth at war with ourselves. We resist normal, human experiences and emotions, all in the name of “holiness” or “righteousness,” or “being good.” Consequently, “what we resist, persists.” Mankind has become so fearful of death that they do whatever it takes to avoid it. There is so much underlying fear of death’s reckoning, that people will go to great lengths in order to rid the world of preconceived evils. Indeed, most of the world’s horrific genocides have been done in the name of religion. Christ came to set us free and in order to be set free, we needed a change of mind.

Spirit- is just that- a spirit– the great all-encompassing spirit that abides in all of life. When we ask for the Christ-spirit, we are asking to be anointed. This anointing is freedom from the battle with ourselves and enables us to live with ease. Christ said, “I came to give you an abundant life.”  He sets us free from that inward battle by removing the sting of death which is the LAW! There is no longer a law to measure ourselves by or to struggle over. We are fee to live and experience this life to the fullest.

Each one of us is very unique and no two perspective will ever be identical. Problems arise when people begin to think the way they see things is the only right way to see. Yet there is no possible way for one person to have a perfect understanding of another person’s perspective. Therefore, there is no possible way for any two people to see eye-to-eye. Everything in this world is relevant- nothing is exact.

Christ came to change the mindset of the human experience from looking to everyone else for our answers. Christ taught, “The Kingdom of God is within you” … “You are gods.” Unfortunately changing humanity’s mind has been the single most difficult task of this world. Fear is tormenting and as long as fear is able to have the upper-hand, rather than LOVE, people will continue down the path of religiosity which tries to control and change the world through a single perspective; that is simply impossible! The only thing that will bring lasting change to this world is LOVE set free from the sting of death- the belief that God is a tyrannical ruler in the heavens getting ready to punish the majority of mankind through pain and torture. Christ didn’t come to set us free from anything but our brainwashed mindset.

I know by experience that when you begin to earnestly seek and pray to be set free from preconditioned religious thinking, you will experience a paradigm shift that will rock your entire existence. But it is those earth-shattering conflicts that ultimately open the prison doors and set us FREE!
