Lunch at Victorian Corner Restaurant

We arrived around 11:30 a.m. and were seated fairly quickly. The decor was quaint and cheery. We were given two menus- breakfast and lunch. The picture shows the lunch menu. I felt a bit overwhelmed with all the choices. The waitresses were in street clothes; our server wore all black and looked like she needed a good dusting off. But she was friendly enough. After we ordered, we waited about 15 minutes to receive our food.
P’s corn beef hash looked a little scary- like it was dumped out of a can onto the plate. My Reuben sandwich was very plain- no thousand Island dressing. Just meat and cheese. Troy liked his tuna fish sandwich. The salad was bagged lettuce with a few pre-shredded bagged carrots tossed on top. The house ranch tasted fresh. I asked for it on the side and it was served in chilled cups.

The price did not match the quality at all- $50+ for the meal and tip; but over all we enjoyed ourselves.
I give it 3/5 stars.

Mission Carmel

This mission was just massive, beautiful, peaceful, and so interesting.

To me, this imprint of the face of Christ was the most mysteriously haunting piece on the mission grounds. Are his eyes open or closed? I took three photographs of this and there all of them were surrounded by orbs. But most intriguing is the purple orb to the left of the imprint.
